Linka, we fell in love with you from the minute we saw your picture with that proud stance and those soft brown eyes.

Although your foster name was Steffy, you quickly let us know that was not your name choice. After a week of your insistence on walking on the left, “Linka” became your name which you accepted.

From the wild and crazy child we adopted you grew into the sweetest and most gentle girl in the world who was always joyful.

The house is very empty without your presence and spirit to grace it, you always made us forget the workday stress and glad to get home to your greeting. We still look for you with tail wagging at the gate when we get home

Linka that you left this earth to soon goes without saying, you took a piece of our hearts when you left that we can never replace.

We know that you will be there to meet, and greet us when it is our time to come over. What a wonderful reunion it will be.
