Alex

In Memoriam
I have a friend who said he’d never own a dog because they die too soon. Personally I think he misses the point completely. They live with such joy and enthusiasm, love completely and savor every treat and adventure that comes their way. Alex was such a dog. Always curious – turn on the water faucet? Sounds good, unzip the tent: hey, never know what’s outside. Pantry and closet doors – no problem; Sliding glass doors – here, let me show you how it’s done. And then there were the jolly balls, banned from my house when Alex was still young because of his complete and utter obsession to them. Nothing else existed when he had his jolly ball to play with, sing to and carry around. Swimming was a close second – the boy was a champion diver from the first. His cardinal rule – never walk into water if you can dive into it. And he always appreciated Aunt Glenna buying a pool just for his enjoyment. In loving memory of Anderhaus Alexandr the Great (Alex), born August 15, 1998; died November 3, 2011. Allie-man, you will always live in my heart and my memories.
