Greetings! I'm Roxanne. It's ok, you can sing the song. My foster family sings it all the time, and they get all the words wrong, but I like the attention. I'm having so much fun in my foster home. I just love humans! And I love all the things they teach me. I'm really smart, and love learning. My foster mom says that I'm a dog that makes people love German Shepherds, because I'm very smart and loyal. She also takes me on walks every day, which I LOVE because I get to smell and see everything. She says I like the mental workout too. I also like napping, unless my people are busy and then I will need to see what they are doing. My foster family has cats, but mom says they are sort of mean and they don't like me sniffing them so I should learn to leave them alone, which is hard but I'm trying. I love all humans though, they're so nice and they pet me! I'm also house trained and crate trained.

I'm so glad the rescue people found me, because I was so hungry and losing weight. The vet says I have something called EPI, and it's a pancreatic deficiency. My foster mom has it about all sorted out, and has lots of information for my new family. And I'm feeling so much better! Because I was so hungry for so long, sometimes I get nervous and want to protect my food, but not from humans, only from new dogs that I don't know if I trust. I hope my new family understands and will help me. I'm getting really good at sharing now that someone has taught me! The best news of it is, that now that I'm sorted out they say it won't affect my lifespan. More time for walks with my favorite humans! My foster dad says it's no big deal to get my food ready, because if he can do it anyone can. I hope so, because I can't wait to start my new life!
