Taylor

We have been Taylor’s foster family for the past two months. Taylor gets along great with her GSD foster siblings. She loves to run and play with our two-year-old GSD, and she respects the fact that our older GSD does not like to play as much. Taylor is also friendly towards other dogs that she meets. She has interacted well with our neighbor’s dogs as well as other dogs at events that we have taken her to. Taylor was a little bit curious about our cat when she first came to us. We monitored their interaction closely in the beginning. Now they drink out of the same water bowl and lay next to each other on the couch.

She is not a picky eater. She is crate trained, but we only leave her in the crate while we are gone. She sleeps on her bed in our bedroom at night. She runs loose in our house whenever we are home. She is house trained. We have not had any problems with her damaging anything or having any accidents since she came into our home.

I like to play with Taylor, and my wife likes to pet Taylor. Taylor quickly figures out what you do and don’t want her to do. She plays rough with me and she is very gentle with my wife. She enjoys getting attention, but she is not a pest about it. She patiently enjoys her down time while we eat. Taylor was uncomfortable on a leash when we first got her. I have worked with her for about six or seven fifteen minute sessions and she will walk on the leash and heel with no problems. She often lays next to me and falls asleep while I’m petting her. The next best thing to having a kid and you won’t have to pay for college!

She has a very soft coat and she does not shed as much as our other dogs. She has unique feathered hair on her ears that make her stand out in a crowd. She has pretty white teeth and a healthy, shiny coat. Taylor is a sweet girl who will be a great addition to the home of the lucky adopter who gets her.
