Shannon

Hi! They call me Shannon, and I'm so glad to be part of this rescue. I'm in a great foster home now, which is a lot of fun. The human kids take me for walks and play fetch with me, and they even have some other dogs for me to play with. I love to play! They tell me they have cats too, but I haven't gotten to meet them yet. Foster mom says I'm a little young and the cats won't like me, but she says humans will like me a lot! She says I'm everything that makes people fall in love with German Shepherds - I'm smart, attentive, and a fun companion. Did I already say I love to play? Fetch is one of my favorites. I like to drop my toys in my foster mom's lap when I think it's time. She says I would do great with someone that wants to be a little bit active with me - taking short walks, playing a little fetch, and teaching me tricks. Or even running, I'm really a great running partner! Because then I like to lay down at her feet when it's time to chill. I'm house trained, and really good at using the doggie door, which I guess makes foster mom really happy, too. I need some time to settle in, and learn that I'm safe and some help to know that people coming to visit are friends too. Could you be my forever home?
