We are so grateful for the overwhelming response to our sweet puppies!  We are currently processing a high volume of applications, and expect that all puppies will be adopted in the coming days. We sincerely thank everyone for their interest and support in providing each puppy with a wonderful, loving home.  Due to the high demand, we are no longer accepting Applications for these puppies.  

Thank you for stopping by to see us!  We are happy, healthy puppies that are available for adoption.  Our mommy is a German Shepherd - a sweet, beautiful young girl who fell for a good looking stranger.  After their brief romance, he was nowhere to be found.  When her people discovered that she was expecting, they took her to a noisy, crowded shelter, and walked away and left her behind.  Things looked bleak for her, and for us.  Enter Greater Houston German Shepherd Dog Rescue!  Because of them, our mommy was rescued, and we were born into a wonderful foster home, where we all got lots of love and attention, and the very best of care.

Now, you can meet us one by one!  Here's what I can tell you about myself.  My name is Minnie, and my foster mom calls me her cute little ball of fuzz with the crystal blue eyes.  I wake up every morning, eager to go outside exploring.  I am a tomboy at heart, and my foster mom says I am fearless when encountering new people, animals, and things.  Unlike my brothers, I don’t wait for reassurance from my foster mom.  I am totally capable of forging ahead on my own.  I am very proud that I am a mighty huntress.  It’s true!  I can catch more bugs than my brothers. I hope I get adopted by an active family that will take me out for daily walks, hikes, and exploring.  I do know how to behave politely when my nails are trimmed (a girl needs her manicure!).  I am an "early to bed, early to rise" kind of girl.  I like to get to bed early so I can sleep in the crate with my grown up foster sister instead of in the crate with my brothers.  Boys can be so annoying!
