Melissa is a very sweet two-year-old who loves being around people and other dogs. She is in a foster home with two other German Shepherds and one cat. She was shy her first day. On day two she was running and playing with the family dogs. She has no interest in cats. She avoids the family cat.

Melissa is very affectionate, and loves to be petted. She will fall asleep in your arms if you pet her while watching TV. She is very well behaved. She is friendly to people who stop by to visit. She will gently take treats from your hand. Melissa follows her foster family from room to room. She loves being with them, but she is not a pest. She is well behaved when company is over. She will make a great addition to anyone looking for a sweet girl. She is crate trained with no signs of separation anxiety when her foster family leaves the house.
