Hi! My name is Maximo, but my foster mom calls me Max. At 85 lbs., I’m still a little thin and need to gain weight. I’m a big boy, and once I fill out, I will be a magnificent specimen! I’m an affectionate lovebug and enjoy petting (behind the ears, please) and tummy rubs. I’m also a very sociable and friendly boy, who enjoys getting out and about. I walk very nicely on a leash, if I may say so myself. I have had some obedience training, but I’m hoping for an adopter who will be committed to continue my training so I can be the best boy I was meant to be. I want to please! I make a great walking, jogging, or hiking companion. I can be a bit overwhelming for small/medium size dogs and small children; so, I think my ideal home will probably be with an active couple or a family with active teens or a family with an active, easygoing large dog who loves to play. My foster mom says I am a wonderfully loving and loyal boy. If you think I might be a good addition to your family, please fill out an application and ask for Maximo.
