Maloy

Maloy is a handsome, smart, playful, spirited GSD “teen” who is growing into an adult GSD.  He is 2 years old and likes to play with his pack of foster GSDs.  Maloy is very smart, learns quickly – and because he’s smart, he can figure out quickly if someone really knows how to work with a GSD.  He is very sweet, however patience and consistency will have him showing best behavior!  If he thinks he “can get away with something”, he just will try again and again to get the upper paw.  He definitely needs “a job”, whether regular walks, daily play times – He’s a German Shepherd Dog and lives up to the greatness of the breed and will make a wonderful GSD companion for the adopter who pays attention to him!  A good fence is also a must, because when Maloy gets curious, he loves to go for a "walk" – better with you and not alone!  Maloy was surrendered by his owners in late January 2021.  He grew to a full size GSD and they just didn’t have time to play with him and for his energy level. Maloy loves to spend time with his humans and play!  A German Shepherd Dog lover of the breed’s traits will find his curiosity, smarts/ quick learning and desire to go on walks, have fun play times with toys and hang out watching TV delightful!  Maloy might just pull the tennis ball out, and after that, may just rest between your feet for a belly rub and pets.  Maloy is a beautiful long haired GSD.  Maloy also has one of the cutest GSD head tilts, he loves being called out to play or for a treat!  Maloy loves to ride in the car/truck, very smart and likes to walk on the leash in a very confident manner, hardly pulling or tugging and excited to be your furever GSD!
