Special Considerations for Adoption:  Leah is completing the quiet period of her Heartworm treatment, and will be ready for adoption after October 27.

Leah recently entered her foster home and her family is getting to know her. She is a soft, sweet, gentle girl who is full of love and kisses. Leah is a strikingly beautiful sable girl, with a natural GSD stance and a gait that will capture your eyes. She enjoys being with people and has a very easy-going temperament. However, I do not recommend she be adopted by a family with small children. Even though Leah is a sweet, gentle girl, she is young and has playful energy, and she could accidentally knock down a child. Leah is crate trained and has good house manners. At her young age, she still likes to chew, so I would not leave her home alone unsupervised. Leah’s foster family has 3 GSDs and Leah gets along with them. There is also a 25 lb. puppy at her foster home and Leah enjoys playing with him. At his young age, this puppy is not yet socially aware of doggie play rules. However, sweet Leah assumed the role of his teacher and happily plays with him like a momma dog plays with her puppies. It is very sweet to watch. Leah’s foster family really enjoys her.
