Layla

Layla is absolutely gorgeous, with a long, thick, fluffy coat.  She has a wonderful temperament.  Her foster dad says she is one of the sweetest girls he has ever fostered or owned.  Layla is very intelligent, highly trainable, and already knows several commands.  Her foster dad says she is very well behaved with company, and doesn't beg or try to take food from counter tops.  She listens to him, tries to do as he expects, and is able to clearly communicate her needs.  She is very affectionate, and loves tummy rubs.  Layla is happy, friendly, and playful.  She walks well on a leash, and pays attention to her handler.  When meeting new dogs, Layla is hesitant at first, though curious, and willing to make friends.  She gets along with both large and small dogs, though she doesn't like it when small dogs jump in her face. Her foster dad says she gets along very well with his dog, and they play happily and sleep together. Layla lost her family twice, and was very sad and confused to be given up. We are looking for a loving adopter who believes, as we do, that your dog is a cherished member of your family, and a lifetime commitment. If you are that person, then this wonderful girl really needs you.  Sweet Layla wants to come home with you - for good!
