If you like to scratch big soft ears and rub a tummy, then Jacie may be the one for you, as these are two of her favorites. And don’t forget brushing sessions … she likes to fall asleep while being brushed.

Jacie is a gentle soul and will make a good companion for hanging out, relaxing, and walking. She is initially reserved, but warms up to her humans when they spend time with her and are patient. She shares her foster home with two Dachshunds and two cats. She gets along well with the small dogs and cats, but will sometimes chase them because she wants to play. If you have small dogs and cats that don’t enjoy chase, she probably will not be a good fit.

Jacie has learned how to sit when there are minimal distractions. Her obedience will continue to improve with consistent training. She is house and crate trained, but sometimes needs a little coaxing to go into her crate because she just wants to be with her humans. She walks well on a leash and will get better with more practice. She has low ball, tug, and food drive, but this may be the result of the effects from her recent heartworm treatment.
