Special Considerations for Adoption: Harmony has a lot of energy, and would do best in an active home.

Hi!  My name is Harmony, and my foster mom tells me that I am such a sweet and pretty young lady. I am always happy to meet new people, but I almost didn't get a chance to be adopted at all.  I was in the shelter and had something called Heartworms, which means I was scheduled for the dreaded "back room." But then a nice lady from GHSDR came along and realized what a special girl I am. She saved my life in the nick of time!  GHGSDR made sure I was treated and fully recovered, and now I am totally healthy and ready for my forever home.

I just recently went to live with a foster family, and it's wonderful. They also see how truly special I am! They say I have a big personality in a mini frame. It’s true. I’m super-fast and agile, too. I am incredibly responsive to my family, and I really like them a lot. There are two smaller humans here, and two big dogs that are way bigger than me. It’s cool though, and we all have lots of fun together. There’s also a furry thing called a cat that makes funny noises. It growls and scratches me if I get too close, and when my humans tell me not to chase it, I don’t. I’d rather chase a ball anyway.  And let me tell you, I L-O-V-E playing fetch. I am so excited when my foster family brings out the toys, and tennis balls.  I could play all day! I would really love a family that would take me on walks every day, and play ball with me. I have a lot of energy, and I’ll do almost anything for that ball! Sometimes my foster family has to remind me to slow down when going for the ball, but I’m working on commands like easy, and lay down, and stay. I walk on a leash really well, and have no problem settling down in my crate during the day, or at night.
