Have you been looking for a sweet and loving dog, who is calm and gentle?  Have you been looking for a dog that is good with children, big dogs, small dogs, and even cats?  Well, look no more!  You have found her here.  Sweet Edna may be just the one you've been waiting for.  Just as you have been waiting for her, so has she been waiting for you.  Edna has been wishing every day for her very own family to love.  Would you like to know more about her?  Let's let her foster family tell you about her.

"When we first picked Edna up from her stay at the veterinarian's office, she seemed a little unsure of herself. She was quiet and not very curious on our first ride together. That quickly changed after we introduced her to our three-year-old German Shepherd Dog. She does not try to challenge our dog's position, yet she holds her own. She also discovered our cats, and displays a lot of curiosity but not hostility towards them. We also noticed that Edna seems to be more attached to the man in the family and is calm around young children.

Edna walks very well on leash; she does not tug, is relaxed (until she sees a squirrel, but that's all dogs' common enemy), and walks on the right at all times. She is also crate-trained and actually prefers to sleep in the crate like it is her very own room. In the few weeks that we have had her, we have easily trained her to sit before crossing the street, leaving/entering the house, and before meals. She is easy to train and happy to please. She plays well with our male GSD and enjoys being part of a pack. Edna is a very sweet and calm girl who loves being petted and does not fight for attention. Her favorite treat is chicken jerky, and we are still figuring out what toys would get her interested. Edna would make any household that much brighter with her immensely warm and calm presence."
