Dice

Dice is a sweet, loving, and handsome white German Shepherd.  I am his very lucky foster mom. His owners were no longer able to keep him, through no fault of his own.  When they brought him to our group, they tearfully asked us to find him a wonderful home. When this boy came to my house, it was obvious that he had been loved and spoiled. He had no problems cozying up to me on the couch, laying at my feet when I cook, and following me everywhere. Dice clearly enjoys sleeping on the bed at night, and while I usually refrain from letting fosters sleeping on my bed, Dice is allowed to do so. He has such stealth jumping up on the bed, and sleeps quietly by my feet. When my alarm goes off, he gently nudges me awake and lays his head on my neck. And yes, I'm kinda falling in love with this gorgeous guy.

From his previous owners, I know that Dice likes to swim, go for walks, and in general be included in all family activities. I have taken Dice for walks, and he does very well on the leash. At times, he actually prances.  This confident boy knows he is pretty!  Dice is a smart dog, and in the very first day he learned the feeding schedule and routine of our home. He has been a wonderful guest.

While he is not a fan of the crate, he will kennel up when asked, and wait quietly and patiently for release after meal times, etc. Dice lives with two large breed dogs right now, a Great Dane mix and a large Lab. He and the Great Dane play well together. The Lab doesn’t like anybody, and Dice has quickly figured out what buttons not to push with the Lab. Dice also has a 14-week-old puppy living with him, and he is gentle and playful with the puppy.
