Dalia is a beautiful, petite, regal girl, who is ready to find her forever family. Her foster family's daughter called her “Sona” (because of her Sonar like hearing!) which she knows very well now.  She is very playful and loves to play ball. Chasing the hose is another favorite pastime. She knows “sit” and “down” and “no," and is working on “stay." She would benefit greatly from some additional obedience training – especially regarding walking on a leash. She is definitely a Velcro dog – and loves being with her people. She is crate trained and eats her meals in in her crate as well. She loves her people and is fiercely loyal. Laying around with her “people” watching TV at night is a favorite pastime – especially if she has a toy to play with. She is house-broken and will tell you when she needs to go out – but only wants to stay outside if her people are with her. She would benefit from more socialization with others. She is a perfect car/truck companion. She is not a fan of bad weather, and thunder storms stress her. She would benefit from a thunder-shirt to wear during bad weather. She has gained a little weight with her foster, but probably needs to gain a few more pounds. She would do well with other large dogs, but would love to be the one and only – as she loves attention. She does not do well with small dogs, and cats probably wouldn’t be a good match either. She is ready for her forever family and will make some lucky family a wonderful lifetime dog!
