Special Considerations for Adoption: Chauncey will need to live in a home that is not on acreage or has access to livestock.

Chauncey has had quite a journey.  Chauncey was emaciated and skittish when he was spotted hanging out around a golf course.  After days of coaxing with food, a nice lady was able to take him home to her ranch.  Chauncey's rescuer nursed him back to health and a beautiful, fun, sweet dog emerged.  Chauncey discovered that it was great fun to harass and chase horses and bulls.  Unfortunately,  he ended up getting kicked in the head by a horse and lost an eye.  That did not slow down Chauncey and he continued to harass the horses and bulls and it was no longer safe for Chauncey to live on acreage.  Chauncey is now living with his foster family and won them over immediately.  Chauncey is such a fun, sweet, handsome dog.  He LOVES his people and enjoys his foster GSD brother.  He sleeps and eats in his crate and enjoys playing chase and with his toys.  Chauncey enjoys his backyard playtime during the cooler parts of the day.  He bonds quickly and would adjust to a new family easily.  This special guy is ready to make some lucky family complete!
