Berkley

Berkley is a charming and affectionate long haired GSD. His sweet and gentle manners will capture your heart, as will his soulful amber-colored eyes. Berkley is a tall, leggy boy with a beautiful soft coat that is wonderful to stroke. Berkley is very affectionate, and loves to be petted and told how wonderful he is. And he is wonderful! He has an amazingly calm and content temperament, and is very loving. He truly is an amazing companion.

We have recently discovered that Berkley does get nervous when left by his people, especially if he is alone with no other dog, and will escape his crate. We will be loaning his adopters a special escape-proof crate for his use, until he is comfortable enough to be in a home unattended. He has spent time unsupervised at his foster's home, but has always had the company of another dog, so there have been no issues. However, his recent adopter told us how nervous and stressed he gets when left alone, so we feel it's best for him to have a safe and escape-proof place to stay when his people are away.
