Basil

Hi! My name is Basil.  No, I’m not an herb, but I sure do love to put my nose in my foster mom’s basil plant.  I was extremely happy to come stay with my foster family. I love my foster mom and dad!  They give lots of petting, scratches, and love, which I enjoy and always come back for more of.  I am house trained and kennel trained, even though my kennel is not my favorite place.

I am a super chill, happy go lucky girl, except when my young foster sister wants to play.  Then, I wrestle and play until I can go no further.  I have a senior foster brother who has taught me to respect him, but still lets me cuddle with him.  I love to be outside (but only when someone is with me) and I love to go on walks.  Sometimes I still pull when walking, but my foster mom is helping me with that.  She is also teaching me commands that I need to know.

From Basil's Foster Family:  Basil is a sweet, loving girl.  She is smaller in size, but has a huge personality.  She would do best in a home with other dogs because she loves the interaction.  She would also do well in a family that is active.  Overall, she would be a perfect addition to just about any family.  She is such a sweet, loyal young lady!
