Atlas

Hello, my name is Atlas, but my foster mom often calls me just "Big Boy."  I'm a 100 lb classic looking black and tan German Shepherd Dog.  My sister German Shepherd and I were hit by cars on a Houston freeway and taken to BARC by a nice police officer.  Sadly, my sister didn't make it, but I miraculously only had minor injuries.  I've since recovered, and I'm ready to be with a family that can give me a second shot at life. I am a good boy.  I walk well on a leash, do fine in the car, am house broken, know basic commands, and I have to admit I'm a real people pleaser.  I like to wrestle with my 80 lb. GSD foster brother when outside, but I'm calm when inside the house, and just like to hang out and maybe play with some toys. My foster parents crate me when they are at work and to sleep at night.  My foster mom says I'm quite an impressive presence with my good looks and large size.  Won't you consider making me part of your family?  I'd love to meet you!
