Abilene

Are you looking for a dog who is sweet, patient, and gentle with young children?  Meet Abilene!  I am Abilene's foster mom, and I am delighted to introduce her to you.  I have five children, ages 3 years old to 14 years old.  Abilene is wonderful with the oldest and the youngest, and every age in between.  I totally trust her with my own children, and with their friends.  Abilene is a playful girl, who loves to fetch.  She doesn't whine or bark for you to play with her.  She drops the ball and steps back, hoping that you will pick it up and throw it for her. Although she doesn't seem to have had much training,  Abilene is a polite girl, who isn't a problem barker and doesn't jump on people.  We are working on commands such as Sit, Stay, and Heel, and she is doing well learning all of these.  Abilene is crate trained, and sleeps in her kennel at night and sometimes during the day.  She likes  being outdoors on a pretty day, and really enjoys going for walks.  Abilene is a really loving girl, who will be happiest in a home where she can get lots of attention, affection, and play time.  Come meet Abilene and you will see how special she truly is.
