Wylie

Hey y'all!!  I beat Parvo and I am loving life.  I am 5 months old and mom says I have feet like a lion's paw.  I guess that means I am gonna be big.  As it stands right now, I am only a little shorter(maybe an inch) and 14 pounds smaller than my youngest foster brother.  But don't let my size fool you.  I am still a baby and I still like for you to TRY to hold me.  

Wylie's mom here.  Let's be clear about his size - it is no joke.  Wylie is the whole package.  He is big, sweet, goofy, goregous and still a puppy.  He still has a few of the sharp pupy teeth; he still likes to use his mouth when playing, and due to his size, can get his mouth fully around my wrist.  Wylie will require a lot of work, consistency and training.  He has already learned to play fetch, will leave it, sit and wait for it to be tossed.  Wylie hears the word OFF - A lot!!!  Off of me because he still likes to jump on you for a greeting, Off when I am prepping his bowl, cause he wants to be able to see the counter top as well as smell it.  He has a friendly, curious and outgoing personality.  He still tries to pull on a leash, when taking him to go potty - we have not ventured on a real walk due to his Parvo status - however, he will need immediate training on that skill or a potential adopter would have a large dog that they are unable to take for a walk.

Don't let mom scare you off - I am totally trainable, treat motivated and smart!  I still struggle with potty training a little because at the shelter and the vet, I just peed where ever, but mom says I am getting better.  I would love a fur sibling to hang with when the humans are at work, but I can adapt well to being a solo pup.  I want my furever family to love me, train me, play with me and cuddle with me.  If you invest the time to teach me to be the kind of dog you want, I can do that for you - just remember I am big, but I am young.  Give me time and I will grow into the companion you want me to be.
