Ruby

Hi there! I’m Ruby, a 4-year-old German Shepherd with a heart as big as my love for chasing balls (which is huge, by the way). I’ve been living with my foster family, and now that I feel safe, my personality is really shining!  

Let’s get the important stuff out of the way—I’m very smart. I come when called, and I’ll sit or lie down when you ask. I even ring a bell when I need to go outside (impressive, right?). I still like to eat in my crate—it’s just my thing—but my foster human totally respects that.  

My best friend in the world is Theo, my foster brother and fellow GSD. I take my cues from him, so if he says someone is cool, I know they’re a friend! I’ve been super friendly with all the visitors that have come by, especially when they realize the way to my heart is through treats (I accept them very gently, thank you very much).  

Now, about my favorite pastime: BALLS. I. Love. Them. Throw one, and I’m yours forever. Seriously, I could chase them all day!  

I’m looking for a home where I can feel safe, loved, and maybe have a doggy friend to show me the ropes—just like Theo does for me now. If you’re looking for a smart, loving, ball-chasing best friend, I think we’re a perfect match!
