Hi, I'm Ozzy!

I arrived at a local shelter as a pregnant mama and after my puppies grew up and got adopted, these wonderful people at GHGSDR placed me in a foster home. Now I'm looking for a place to call my own!

I’m a quiet soul with a gentle heart, looking for a calm and loving forever home. I’m housebroken, crate trained, and I can be trusted to relax on my own while you’re away. At night, I sleep peacefully in my crate, but what I really love is being close to my foster mom and sharing quiet moments together.

I walk beautifully on leash and never pull—I just enjoy being by your side. Car rides are easy for me too, and I’ll happily go wherever life takes us. I’m not much for play, but I’ll always be there to keep you company and offer my steady, comforting presence.

I can be a little shy when I first meet new people, especially men. All I need is a bit of patience and kindness, and once I feel safe, my heart opens up completely. When you earn my trust, I’ll love and protect you deeply and faithfully.

I'm slow to warm up to other dogs but once I'm comfortable, I love to play! I'm always playing "bitty face" and roughhousing with the other GSDs at my foster home. I do best with dogs who understand social boundaries and can respect my space. I’m content to live with cats as long as they don’t bother me. I’d also be happiest in a home with older kids and/or children who understand that I need gentle respect.

I don't really care for toys, but I love treats and am very food-motivated! I've done a bit of training with my foster and I know how to sit, lay down, and go to my crate.
