Lincoln

Hi. My name is Lincoln. Much like my namesake, I “possess a warm and generous heart” and am “genial and affable.” I’m also very affectionate and loving.

Although I had a rough start, things are looking up for me. I’m in a foster home with another male GSD and a female Boxer-Bulldog mix. I get along great with both dogs. Although my foster brother plays with me, my foster sister seems unimpressed with my presence and pretty much ignores me, occasionally giving me the side-eye (females!).

I walk great on a leash with my brother and sister. I don’t pull, and I am patient. When we have encountered other dogs, I have not shown any aggression; curiosity, at most. At first I did a lot of zig-zagging while walking, not having been walked on a leash before; but now I’ve gotten the hang of things and my foster mom says I’m doing great.

Although it’s not a requirement, I think I will do well in a home with other dogs so I have someone to play with and to keep me company until you get home. I
