Dakota

Meet Dakota, a great, calm 3 ½ year old looking for a forever home. She knows many commands, and words and like a typical German Shepard she wants to be close to you wherever you are.

Her favorite word is Ball. I could write a children’s book on “Dakota and her love of balls.” She will fetch, return, and drop the ball on command and can do this for a very long time. If she isn’t chasing a ball, then she is carrying it around or napping with it or even chasing a squirrel still holding on to her ball. She also loves her IQ game where she must push slots in different directions to get the treat inside.

When I go shopping, I do not crate her; she is so well behaved nothing is out of place when I return. Once she put her leash by the backdoor to let me know I forgot her when I left. She sleeps in her bed in my bedroom all night long; she loves walks and riding in a car; she also, loves being brushed, but most of all she loves her ball. She is very smart and communicates when she wants something. Dakota is looking for a best friend.
