Hi, I’m Coal, a handsome 1 year old black German Shepherd with a big heart and even bigger puppy eyes! I’m the perfect blend of playtime energy and cuddle-time calm—just ask my foster!

I'm both housebroken and crate trained. I get along great with other dogs, I'm respectful of cats, and I’ve been totally fine being left alone while crated. I’m still learning how to walk nicely on a leash—I do pull a bit, but I take redirection well and I love to please. Did I mention I’m super treat motivated?

My foster says I’ve mastered “sit” and “down,” and I’m working on my “stay.” I sleep peacefully in my crate at night, and I’m always ready to start the day with a wag and a kiss. I’ve got a medium energy level, so whether it’s chasing a ball, licking the peanut butter spoon, or just curling up next to you, I’m happy as long as I’m near my people.
