Hi there, I’m Amelia! I’m a beautiful 3‑year‑old German Shepherd with a gentle heart and a calm soul and I'm looking for my forever home.

I absolutely love going for walks, and I’m very proud to say I’m a dream on the leash. I walk calmly by your side, happy just to be together. I’m also learning how to ride in the car, and I’m doing great with short trips so far. I get along well with other dogs, though I’d do best in a home without cats or small animals.

At home, I’m a well‑mannered, easygoing girl. I spend a little time in my kennel when my foster mom runs errands, but at night I sleep peacefully in the bedroom. I’m affectionate, gentle, and eager to please. I respond very well to kind guidance and love learning new things — especially when I know I’m doing a good job.

I’m the kind of girl who takes a little time to warm up. New people and new situations can feel big at first, but with patience, consistency, and a calm routine, I truly blossom. Once I feel safe, my loyalty and love shine through. I’d thrive in a patient home with older kids, a steady schedule, and another confident dog who can help show me the ropes.
