My name is Nimeria, but my foster mom calls me “Nymi.” I was not doing so well before I came to GHGSDR – I had been wandering the streets, and I was so hungry. I only weighed 45 lbs! But I am sooooo glad to be safe and sound now with my foster mom and my new best friend—my GSD foster sister! I love playing and napping with my foster sister—we spend the whole day together! She makes me feel safe and happy. I have been eating well and I feel sooo much better. I am a timid girl at first, but I grow more affectionate with time.
I have been getting used to my foster home, and even though I was not house trained before, I “hold it” all day and do not have accidents! I also love lounging on soft blankets and pillows. Having a home is great!
I’ve really enjoyed warming up to my foster family, but I just can’t wait to find my forever family so I can be safe and happy forever! I can’t wait to meet you.
Foster's Note: Nimeria would do best with a patient adopter who is willing to take the time to make this sweet girl feel safe and secure. Another large dog for her to bond with is a big plus! She is shy, and would probably do best in a home without small children.
