Hi everybody, I'm Moby. I'm a calm, gentle doggo that Loves! To! Run! My foster dad thinks I was an outside dog because he is teaching me what toys are, and I fetched a ball twice today!
I've never had someone that loved me before so it might take a while to trust that you are one of the good hoomans, but once I do...get ready to give me All! The! Scratches!
I'm sure as heck enjoying this new life so far, so many things I've never done before, but I'm making lots of progress (I heard them talking about me!)
I am fine in a kennel, know to potty outside, and learning to walk on a leash. Trying to figure out what they mean by "Moby Sit"?!? I'm still not too sure about being in a car yet, but I was super brave and walked up the stairs all by myself!
As long as my new hooman is kind & patient, I know I can do anything.
From Moby's foster dad: Moby has clearly been abused in a past life, and may flinch when you pet him at first. Despite this, he does not have an aggressive bone in his body; he will just take a little bit of time to have confidence in a new environment.
He is non-reactive to cats or other dogs, but I recommend only older kids, if any. He is lower energy than the typical GSD, and enjoys attention, but is also happy simply being in the same room as you on the floor. He doesn't jump on furniture, and is a really chill dog. The only time he ever barks is if he wants to play or go outside, but is mostly quiet. He would be fine as an only dog as well.
