It gives me great pleasure to introduce little miss June Bug. This is a very special little girl, who is as loving as she is cute.  June Bug is a 6 year old female, spayed, Heartworm negative, fully house trained, and what I like to refer to as "fun size," weighing in at 45 pounds.  Yes, she is petite in stature, however  she more than makes up for that with a goliath-like capacity for love and affection.  She is a real show stopper!  She is simply beautiful, and her coat is as soft as silk with a beautiful glossiness to it.  Her eyes are absolutely heart melting and quite alluring.  Believe me when I say that this is a girl who is more than aware of her attributes.  I have watched her draw people in to her from across a room! She looks longingly with her soulful eyes, a playful tail wag, and what I refer to as her "signature move" stretching herself, especially her hind legs, and in a delightfully coy way inching herself towards her people.  She is a hoot!

As June Bug's foster mom, I have observed her in my home for just  a short while, however, she is very alert, playful, and gets along well with other dogs.  Currently she is living with two adults, a teenaged boy, two very large elderly GSDs, and a 1-year-old GSD.  She is getting along great, and our senior dogs were very quick to teach her to be respectful and mind the rules of the house.  She has adapted brilliantly.  Although JuneBug gets along well with other dogs, I do believe that she would be just as happy as an only dog.  She really craves the human connection above all else.  I believe her dream home would simply be one with someone who truly, truly wants a companion.  She loves to be loved, and longs for affection.  This is in no way a needy dog.  She just really enjoys the human-dog bond. Curling up at your feet and just being rubbed is a great day for this sweet girl!
