Special Considerations for Adoption:

CJ would be happy to be in a home where he gets lots of love and attention, and has other big dogs to play with. He enjoys walking with his foster family, and walks and runs very well on a leash. CJ is a very beautiful and loving boy who enjoys being next to you when you are watching television. He especially likes it when you rub your feet on him. CJ wants to be part of the family and likes to be involved in everything. He isn't bothered by the vacuum or the mop, and notices when the newly mopped floor is wet, and carefully walks around it. He moves so gracefully that sometimes it looks as if he is dancing! CJ sits on command, and he is not toy or food aggressive. He has a healthy appetite, and he is house broken and crate trained. CJ looks forward to his nightly treat right before bed and is sure to give you thank you kisses.

CJ is great with children! He had the opportunity to stay with a family with small children for a few days. CJ loved all the hugs and kisses and happily cuddled next to the 5-year-old daughter and watched her favorite shows. He was not bothered at all by the children running back and forth. He enjoyed playing with Barbie dolls with the girls. CJ was such a good sport that he cheerfully played dress-up as Snow White and even wore a princess crown. He just seemed to love being with the children, and soaking up all the love and attention he could get.

CJ did seem to be upset by the high pitched crying of a very young child. The crying of a 5-year-old did not bother him, and he would go to her and give her kisses to calm her down. His foster family recommends that he be adopted by a family with another dog to keep him company during the day, and no children under the age of 5. CJ is a very sweet boy who is very dearly loved by his foster family. If he sounds like the one for you, please fill out an application and ask for CJ. This boy is full of love and only wants to be loved, and he is ready to be a happy and affectionate new member of your family.
