Hi ladies! I’m Sadie Von — your new best friend in the making!

“What’s up? Where we goin’? What we doin’?!”
That’s basically my life motto. I’m all about tagging along, sticking close, and making sure you're never lonely, especially if you’re a woman. Sorry men, you just don’t impress me much.

I was found back in February, hanging out in a gas station parking lot with my one-year-old son. Luckily, a kind-hearted vet tech scooped us up and brought us to safety. Since then, I’ve been living my best foster life while waiting for my person to come along.

Now, let’s get into the good stuff. I may be 11 years old, but don’t let that fool you — I’ve still got energy, personality, and plenty of pep in my step. I’m the perfect mix of wisdom and playfulness. I’m potty trained, know basic obedience (sit, down, wait, and all that good stuff), and I live for praise and pets. My favorite thing? Getting brushed. Seriously - it’s like a spa day!

I’m crate trained too — tell me “kennel up” and I’m in there like it’s my cozy little bedroom. I even have great recall! Call my name, and I’m right there, ready for whatever’s next.

I’ve got some big energy and a big heart, which means I sometimes get a bit overstimulated around other dogs. I’m working on it, but just so you know — I’m intense in all the best ways. I do love my cat friends though! I live with two right now, and one of them, Chip, is my little shadow. We play, we chase, and then he fake-attacks me because he’s dramatic like that.

Health-wise, I do have a luxated hip that throws off my balance a bit. I try to keep up, but I slide around on hardwood or tile like Scooby-Doo during a chase scene. Rugs help a lot, and I promise — I’m worth the extra traction.

So, if you’re a woman looking for a loyal, loving, slightly dramatic, and very fabulous Velcro dog, I just might be your soulmate. I’ve got so much love left to give, and if you give me the chance, I’ll never leave your side.
