Catalina is one of the sweetest dogs I have ever fostered.  She adores her people, and wants to be a friend to every dog.  Catalina was in a shelter with her seven puppies that were most likely GSD and Lab mix. A kind rescue group took in the puppies, and  Catalina was rescued by Greater Houston German Shepherd Dog Rescue.  The workers in the shelter really advocated for Catalina, because she was such a good girl and they all loved her so much.  We all had the same reaction.  Everyone who met her loved her, and she became a friend to every dog she met.

When I fostered Catalina, my dog and I fell in love with her, too.  My dog would even let her eat out of his bowl along with him.  Now that has never happened before!  They did everything together.  I had to move their dog beds up against each other so they could cuddle up with each other at night.

Did I want to keep her?  Of course!  But I am dedicated to fostering, and if I adopt my fosters, I won’t have room for other German Shepherds who are in need of a foster home.  So sweet Catalina is now available for a very lucky family to adopt. Come meet her, and you will fall in love with her, too.
