Tavi (short for Octavia) has recently arrived in her foster family’s home. She is a very sweet girl, who loves your attention. She is also a very active 3-year-old and would thrive in an active home. If you love to jog, then she’s your partner. She loves to play fetch, and will retrieve her thrown toys for a long time. Tavi gets along with her small foster sister wonderfully. She is very gentle when playing, and will even lie down to play with her from the floor. We’re working on crate training; she is not a big fan of it. She can be bribed into the crate and is always very happy to be out of it when we return. Tavi has learned to walk very nicely on a leash, and has picked up some basic obedience commands very quickly. We are working hard on “Get back” and “Wait” as she is eager to explore when any outside door opens. We will update her progress as her foster family learns more about her.
