Howdy y’all! I’m Anastasia. I was overwhelmed when I first moved into my foster home. I got to stay indoors, but the ground was different; it was smooth and slippery and COOL to lay on – but it made getting away from my 3 foster brothers a little hard. I was not too sure about them at first – but once they let me enjoy my space, – I realized they are not bad dogs. They play with me, will run with me in the backyard, and have taught me to live in a pack. My foster mom has been trying to teach me things too. She is ALWAYS calmly correcting me – I am just trying to gently give her a hug – but I listen when she says no. She also wants me to SIT…like all the time: for a treat, for my dinner, when she is watching tv and I am standing in front of her waiting for her to pet me….. Foster mom can be stubborn too though – I am trying to show her that a diva such as myself should get to have breakfast in bed. I have never had a bed before and I LOVE it!! So why would I not want to lay on it to eat right? She sets the bowl three feet away and I have to pick it up MYSELF and take it to bed. I don’t know why she shakes her head when some of it drops from the bowl (ok ok about half of it in a trail all the way to the bed) but I DO eat it ALL….
OH!! I almost forgot – mom takes me to ride places in the car. I have finally figured out how to get up there myself and riding is getting to be fun. Lots to see from the back of a car. I keep hoping I will see my forever family. Mom promises forever families are the best. Wanna meet me? I promise to give you gentle hugs, and companionship. Hit my foster mom up! Thanks, everybody!
