Elroy is a very special boy. He is beautiful, smart, and loving, and has a wonderful personality. He is so charming that when he walks in a room, he OWNS it! Like most puppies, his paws grew first, and when he runs, it's so cute to see these great big puppy paws coming at you. Elroy loves people, and likes to be right where you are. Animal Control found him wandering the streets with a rope dangling from his neck. We think he was tied up somewhere and chewed his way to freedom. Elroy wasn't about to let himself be kept tied up by himself. After a few days at the shelter, we were able to bring him into GHGSDR and into a loving foster home. Elroy is a very happy puppy, and you would never know he had such a rough start. He is a little mischievous, but for a 6 month old, he is very well behaved. He likes to play constantly with his GSD foster brother, Mike, who is also available for adoption on this website. Elroy is a total love bug, and likes to crawl in your lap and give you kisses. He has no idea that he is growing so fast that it's getting harder and harder for him to fit in his foster mom's lap. Elroy will sit patiently for his food, and has a good appetite. While fine in a crate, he really prefers to be free, because that's where the people are! Elroy has been left for a few hours free in the house when his foster parents were away, under the watchful eye of his foster brother, Mike. Most young puppies can't be trusted alone in the house, but Elroy was absolutely fine. Told you he was a special boy! Elroy likes everyone he meets, and is ready to fill your heart with his own brand of captivating puppy love!
