Needs to recover from spay and be treated for heartworm.  Initial adjustment period rocky with separation, needs time to settle in before being left for long periods, not crate trained
Sarah comes to us from a shelter.  She is a beauty with her plush coat.    Her paperwork from the shelter says she is one, but I am guessing she is more like three.   Cats are just fine with Sarah, much to my cat's relief after having series of dogs who like to chase!  Sarah is working on her manners.  She is very attention deprived and has trouble controlling herself with people who talk nice to her.  It's just so exciting when someone looks at her or talks to her that she looses all focus and forgets her manners.  She is learning to sit when she wants attention and is getting along nicely with my dogs.  Sarah will respond to a consistent routine, boundaries, and lots of love when she is behaving.  We have learned to not leave Sarah alone as she has some abandonment issues.  Cheer Sarah on as she learns to be a secure family member who will eventually become a wonderful family pet for someone.
